We suppose that you remember the amazing graffiti that the boys from 140 ideas made on one of the walls in the courtyard of the school "St. Kliment Ohridski " in Haskovo? Yes - of course! The drawings fill with pride the students, the teachers, and the parents. The interest in our favorite Egyptian vulture was so great that we decided to take teachers and students in our project area – “Madzharovo” on the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity to see the character of the drawings in the wild.

The bus, full with children and teachers, arrived in the BSPB Nature Conservation Center "Eastern Rhodopes". Alexander“Sancho” Marinov - our volunteer animator, was expected them to tell and show the unique nature of the area. In this superannuated crater there are many rare plants and animals and every one of us should be proud that we have managed to preserve this natural wealth.

Of course, the vultures came into notice, not only during the presentation in the interactive hall, but also outside. The fate of this globally endangered species and what we do for its protection provoke the highest interest.

After a walk in the oak forest and along the river and after the observations of black storks, vultures and songbirds, the students received varied information materials and left the Center.

Every child loves nature. The most important thing for us as parents and environmentalists is to preserve this love, because it is the biggest hope for all disappearing endangered species on our planet.
